Usually not and we always endeavour to provide comfortable treatment. Sometimes due to inflammation of the gums there can be slight sensitivity. The better the health of your gums the less likely sensitivity will occur. If you find treatment uncomfortable discuss it with your Dental Hygienist because various techniques are available to help.

Is the treatment expensive?

It is more expensive if you do not have regular hygiene treatment. Costs may vary depending upon the type of treatment required. Please discuss this with your hygienist before treatment commences if you are concerned.
