Congratulations to Jess Stanley for winning the ADA Excellence in Dental Journalism Award (Electronic Media)

Last year's Channel 9 Adelaide news story featuring Dr Miller which discussed the effects of the elderly not regularly visiting the dentist was recently recognised with presenter, Jessica Stanley winning the Australian Dental Association's Excellence in Dental Journalism Award (Electronic Media). This story highlighted the need for greater awareness of dental health among the elderly and showcased the importance of dental outreach programs throughout regional South Australia.

ADA President, Dr Hugo Sachs, presented the Awards today at the 37th Australian Dental Congress. “These winning stories highlight that dental health is a critical issue for all Australians; whether it comes to the water you drink, whether you live in the city or the country, or whether you are young or old,” Dr Sachs said.
